Its great being an adult you can cut the crusts off your sandwich and everything. This is the thought that occurred to me as I made my lunch today (cheese mayo and gherkins since you asked). Its got me thinking about the other joys of being an adult. I am talking simple joys and pleasures here. The silly. The mundane. Here are a few of my particular favourites…what are yours?
1. Crust free sarnies
2. Staying up as late you want
3. Eating pizza for breakfast
4. Drinking white wine in the afternoon sunshine
5. Going where you want when you want
6. Staying in your pyjamas all day
7. Red wine and crisps for dinner

Don’t you just loathe Mondays?
Having said that the sun is shinning and I am drinking coffee so its not all bad. Small pleasures n’est pas?
The real Le Chat Noir is sat next to laptop, nibbling on his cat grass and looking up at me with big soulful yellow eyes. He wonders about Mondays too.
